Websites Galore!
We are all about setting you up for success - be it in the gym or in your "other" life. The Whole Life Challenge is starting up this weekend, and I want to share with you some websites that you may not be aware of - websites that will help you succeed!
For most folks, the more challenging thing of the WLC is nutrition. Changing the way that you eat can be difficult, to say the least. Many folks have a strong emotional attachment to food. However I suggest that you remember that the primary purpose of food is fuel! Change the way you view it, and it will lose its "hold" upon you!
Here are some websites that I frequent - some are general information, others have great recipes. Sit down with a glass of water (hydration, remember?!?), fire up the laptop, and do some surfing. Find some websites you like, and let us know about it on our forums.
One of the things that many are going to struggle with is kitchen prep. If you're used to using sweeteners, and you want to stop, get it out of your kitchen, NOW! Get used to cooking with healthy fats, and experiment with herbs and spices. You really don't have to have the same thing more than once during this 8-week challenge.
Remember, put those newly found websites up on our forums to share with everyone!

Great article on why coconut oil is good… I am in class now in nutrition and they keep stressing how bad sat fat is (with lard, butter, and coconut oil the culprits)… but we know better! These fats are awesome but its just WHERE they are coming from and how we get them into our diet (natural sources vs. a McDonalds cheeseburger! DUH
