This Sunday, join Ben for a new class: Physical Readiness and Endurance (PRE). The fun begins at 2pm and will last 2 hours. The first hour will focus on strength and metabolic conditioning. The second hour will focus on endurance. The cost of the class will be $10. You can attend only the first hour, just the second hour, or both - anyway you look at it, it's $10. Nothing like some comfort foods as we head into this cold and snowy weekend! Happy Friday ya'll!
Slow Cooker Roast Chicken and Gravy: (from NomNom...)
Ingredients:
4-5 pound organic kosher chicken (I prefer the taste of the salt-washed bird)
2 tablespoons of ghee
2 onions, chopped medium (or 2 cups of your favorite alliums)
6 cloves of garlic, peeled
1 teaspoon tomato paste (you can use up to a tablespoon to add more umami)
¼ cup chicken stock
¼ cup white wine (replace with 1/4 cup extra chicken stock if on WLC)
Sunny Paris seasoning (or your favorite seasoning)
Kosher salt
Freshly ground pepper

Gravy = Yum...
