Mobility and a Boot Camp Party!
Mobility at CrossFit Blacksburg is changing. To help make you better, we will be catering each class to include techniques for fixing a specific issues. The foundation of mobility, as with CrossFit at large, is movement. Finding inefficency in athletic movement and addressing movement inhibitions is what we are all about. So, we will be offering specific mobility courses for pre and post workouts strategies, fixing the inhibitions in the lower body (low back hips, and ankles), and workshopping the overhead position.
The last Thursday night mobility class will be next week, August 22nd. On Tuesday August 27th at 7:30pm we will start a 4 week "Recovery and Self-Massage 101" course focusing on helping you both prepare for and recover from training. Stay tuned for more info on other series starting in September!
If you can make it, definitely come by tonight for the boot camp graduation, 6:30pm is the final workout and at 7:30 the party starts, we all know mobilizing and beers always go well together.
