Military Prep
You have probably seen the posters up around the box over the last week. Coach Johnny is putting together a program specifially designed for cadets, active duty, National Guard, and reserve military personnel. These weekly sessions will be held Saturdays, and are designed to test participants both physically and mentally. Each session will last 1 1/2 hours - and will be packed full. There may be some open spaces. If you're interested, check with one your coaches to see if it's right for you.

Day 2 of the Whole30 Challenge
To add to Sean’s comment from yesterday, YES! I’m giving up booze for the entire 30 (we’ll see how it goes).
I’m also voluntarily giving up coffee as well
These are going to be the two toughest aspects for me, the rest I’m pretty good with (technically) but I’ve found (from the seminar) that I need to add 1.) variety to my diet and 2.) nutrient dense vegetables
Looking forward to changes in performance, energy, and overall quality of life!

I’ve decided to try to post as much as possible on the days I come in, mostly as a way of keeping myself honest and on track physically and nutritionally. Otherwise I find it very easy to cheat with the food aspect.
Not giving up coffee just yet, but I’m doing half-caf and cut my consumption by 50%. Shouldn’t be an issue. Beer, on the other hand…(sigh)…I’ll make it through without, but I won’t enjoy it.

As far as the challenge goes, I think my only problem will be staying away from the occasional chocolate cheat :/ Hopefully.
