Middle school camp

Reminder - No 8 AM class all this week!   All other classes are on as scheduled.  There will be a bunch of middle schoolers learning how to use a barbell around for a couple hours in the morning.  They start at 7, so try and make a 6:30 AM class to see how strong our CrossFit Kids are!


This is what we mean by keeping the bar close!  And the plates under the toes are a nice touch!

  • WOD as Rx’d:

    Round 1: 3 rounds + 7 reps
    Round 2: 4 rounds + 3 reps
    Round 3: 4 rounds + 4 reps

    Total reps: 113

    Better score each round…need to balance the intensity a bit better throughout all rounds.

  • BS 3x5: 255#.  Same weight as last week, but it felt lighter.
    WOD, 135# PP; sub 4 pull-ups and 4 ring dips per 1 MU: 1+7, 1+7, 1+6.

    The hill sprints killed me.  It’s over an hour since I finished them, and I’m barely starting to feel normal again.  Ouch!

  • WOD doing PU and dips 125#: 2, 1+8, 1+7

    I also just started to feel normal from hill sprints.  Those took me to a very bad place.

    Hill sprints didn’t hurt me quite as bad!
