Kids
In case you didn't know, we have a CrossFit Kids program at CrossFit Blacksburg. We provide the opportunity for kids, from age 3 to 17, to train at an appropriate skill level. No, we don't have 3 year olds exercising with seniors in high school. There are 4 different programs which allows each age group to train at their abilities.
There's more to CrossFit Kids Blacksburg than dumbed down CrossFit. Kids aren't little adults, and their needs and goals are very different from our own. Their classes are structured to maximize their learning potential, while packing in a big dose of fun!
While these kids are training, even while finishing up their hour, please do not drift on to the floor. Their hour is theirs, just as your hour on the floor is yours. Refrain from getting on the black floor, even if one of your kids is training. There are enough distractions as it is for the kids ... adults barging in on their time doesn't help!
Thanks for your understanding!!
Just warming up?!

Well that was a lot to do! But another first- Rxed WOD with PR 1:35, 1:47, 1:54, 1:54.
And can you please do a post about the kids not HITTING their parents!? They are getting too strong (I’m looking at deadlift boy there as a primary culprit).

Came in at 5:30 to participate in the “MASH unit” session. First time in the box in 11 days, thanks to my ankle and foot.
PJ: 155#, SJ: 175# dominant leg only. Didn’t do opposite leg because even Samson stretch was horrendously painful on R foot.
WOD: (Rowed 4x400m instead of run), avg’d about 1:25 on each.

Training solo kind of stinks, but that’s what happens sometimes.
PJ:105#;SJ(L)95#;SJ(R)105# - just not feeling the love. Oh well, tomorrow is another day to …
