"Eva"

5 Rounds for time of:

800 meter Run
30 Kettlebell Swings (70/53#)
30 Pull-ups

*9,18,27.36, and 45 minute caps for each Round.

 

 



"Eva" is a tough one, and can be especially tough on the hands! 

We will not set specific Scaling and Progressions for "Eva", but here are some words of advice: 

*If you usually scale the running portion of workouts, try to perform the runs as Rx, or run more than you usually would for today's workout. 

*If you usually scale the Kettlebell Swing load in a workout, try to go a little heavier in today's workout.

*Make the Pull-ups for today harder than you usually do in a workout.

*Moving on from Kettlebell Swings at the 7, 16, 25, 34, and 43 minute marks, regardless how many reps you have completed is a great strategy.

*Moving on from the Pull-ups at the 9, 18, 27, 36, and 45 minute marks, regardless of how many reps you have completed is a great strategy as well.

*do NOT rip your hands today.

*do NOT perform kipping Pull-ups with a band today.

*do NOT perform Strict Pull-ups today with a band assistance greater than a red band.
