I joined CrossFit Blacksburg in October 2011. I have gone to class twice a week,
EVERY week, since I started. I changed my diet to a close to paleo diet in September 2012,
had great results, and have kept that diet (except for beer and chocolate!).
I have also participated in workshops, challenges, and endurance training.
In spite of all this activity, I have not "bulked up." It just doesn't work that way.
There are no "bulky" women at CFBB. Zero. You really don't need to worry about it.
There are some really fit people at CFBB. And lots of not-so-fit people.
And old and young people, and (insert adjectives here) people. And the best part?
It REALLY doesn't matter! The CFBB people are AMAZING people, very welcoming, very supportive.
Everyone wants everyone to succeed. Every class, all the time.
You will be encouraged and cheered each step on your fitness journey.
