Yoga

Bryce has been instructing Ashtanga and Vinyasa styles of yoga for over 2 years, has been practicing yoga for over 5 years, and is a personal trainer at Virginia Tech. 

Classes are open to both members and non-members of CrossFit Blacksburg.
Classes are on Thursday evenings at 7:30 and Sunday afternoons at 4:30.

Why Yoga?

Crossfitters can benefit greatly from a yoga practice in several ways.  First and foremost being flexibility and balance.  Practicing yoga can help you improve performance in many gymnastics movements, and help foster joint mobility, which can ease transitions in lifting.  Also, yoga adds variation to your exercise regimen. 

In addition, yoga is a very effective way to improve body awareness.  Taking an hour to tune into your own body can help you find specific things that you need to work on.  Finally, yoga can help you reduce stress, calm the mind, and relieve tension in the body. 




Pricing:

Members - $12 per class drop-in rate; $100 for 10 class punch card
Non-members - $15 per class drop-in rate; $120 for 10 class punch card
